Couple of key things to remember:
1) Kemptville Community Tennis Club members have priority for the courts Mon-Fri (6-8 pm) and Sat (9-noon) - so please don't be shy come on out as often as you can.
2) Not too late to join as a member ...... just email me / call me or show up to the court during club hours
3) Start thinking and planning for the Kids Camps - July 16th, July 30th, Aug 13th 9-10 and 10-11 am.....I would like to be 80-90% certain of the sizes by June 1st - so I can arrange for an appropriate number of instructors (so please check your schedules and let me know as soon as you can)
4) Tennis Balls - as you know we are one of the few (if only) Tennis Clubs - that provide balls to members during club hours. However, as a club fund raising tool - if you are interested in purchasing new balls - you can buy them from the Club for $5 - this way you have a can - just in case no one is around one evening.
5) Group Lessons - I will publish a schedule in the next week or so .....but we will have group lessons on Saturday mornings (and several evenings from time to time) approximately every 3 weeks for different age / skill groups
6) Private Lessons - many of you have asked if private lessons are available - this year if you are interested - I will be offering private lessons - the fee will be $25 / hour or $40 / hour if there is 2 people .... this can be for children and adults .......this is for beginners. (40% of all monies earned from private lessons will be going back to the Club)
7) Tennis Club Member distribution list - after the next 2 weeks - I will start only sending tennis specific messages to those who have joined the tennis club (this way a number of you won't receive unnecessary emails)
Watch for news on ......theme nights for the different nights of the week ....... member distribution list / contact list on line.......means to see on-line who is playing which night .....and very exciting news (a windscreen installation day)......
